IDLH Tactical Worksheet®
The aviation-style fire command board that started it all. ICS/NIMS-aligned, all-hazard checklists in a rugged dry-erase layout — trusted by career, combination, and volunteer departments nationwide.
IDLH Technology builds the command and training tools that help firefighters lead under pressure — from the command board in a chief's hands to the AI preparing the next generation. Built by firefighters. Ready right now.
Everything IDLH makes does one job — help the fire service perform when it matters. Command, promotion, training, EMS, budgeting, and digital incident command. Here's what's live today.
The aviation-style fire command board that started it all. ICS/NIMS-aligned, all-hazard checklists in a rugged dry-erase layout — trusted by career, combination, and volunteer departments nationwide.
Promotional assessment practice for firefighters chasing the next stripe. Realistic, assessment-style exercises with structured, scored feedback on what you actually demonstrate — so nothing about the real panel is a surprise.
Start preparing →AI-assisted drill building for training divisions and company officers. Turn a rough idea — or a real scene photo — into scene visuals, animations, and a complete, ready-to-run drill packet in minutes instead of hours.
Build a drill →The EMS counterpart to BugleReady. A paramedic promotional and hiring assessment platform — proctored written testing, scored verbal practicals, and structured, audit-defensible review — so departments can identify their next medics with confidence and candidates walk in ready.
Visit MedicReady →A budgeting tool built for the realities of fire and EMS departments — not generic accounting software. Plan, track, and defend your budget in the language of the fire service, with the clarity command staff and elected boards actually need.
Visit BudgetBuilder →The digital extension of the IDLH Tactical Worksheet® system. Checklist-driven command, resource tracking, accountability, and documentation in a familiar interactive workspace built for incident response and training.
Explore digital command →A command board. A promotion nobody felt ready for. Drills that took hours to build. A budget nobody could make sense of. IDLH Technology exists to build the tool that didn't exist — software, apps, and sites that solve real problems for the fire service and beyond. If your department is fighting a problem with a spreadsheet, a whiteboard, or a workaround, there's probably a better tool waiting to be built. Let's build it.
Purpose-built platforms that fit how the fire service actually works.
From storefronts to field tools — fast, clean, and built to last.
Practical AI that saves real time, not novelty for its own sake.
The discipline of command isn't unique to the fire ground. The same tools that help a chief run an incident help anyone who has to stay calm, organized, and accountable when the pressure is on.
Fire, EMS, hazmat, technical rescue, emergency management — the same command discipline, tuned to each discipline's needs.
From the probationary firefighter preparing for their first promotion to the training division building a department's whole program.
New tools are always in development. The mission stays the same: readiness, accountability, and calm under pressure — delivered in whatever form does the job best.
IDLH Technology started in 2017 with a simple frustration: the tools handed to the fire service weren't built by the people who use them. Blank whiteboards at the command post. Binders nobody had time to open. Software that clearly never rode in a rig.
So we built our own — starting with the IDLH Tactical Worksheet®, now used in all 50 states, and growing into a family of command and training tools spanning hardware, software, and AI. Everything we make is shaped by real fire-ground and assessment-day experience, designed and built in Parker, Colorado.
